What you can expect to do here:
- Work with senior staff in the development of drawing packages;
- Design HVAC and Building Automation systems, plumbing and fire-protection systems;
- Analysis of the building’s heating, ventilation, and cooling loads;
- Perform engineering calculations;
- Manage team of designers and engineers to deliver projects.
What you’ll bring to WSP:
- Mechanical Engineering Degree or Diploma from an accredited institution;
- Minimum 6+ years of related experience;
- P.Eng. license registered with EGBC is preferred;
- Proven working knowledge with AutoCAD and Revit software;
- Demonstrated understanding of Plumbing, Fire Protection and HVAC layouts;
- Good working knowledge of MS Office, AutoCAD and Revit;
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills required;
- Must have proven record of working collaboratively in a team environment;
- LEED accreditation and Passive House Certification is an asset
Compensation
Expected Salary (all locations): $93,700 to $128,900
WSP Canada is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it will pay for this position based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to the specific geographic location.
