Overview






SRI International has an immediate need for a Senior Subcontract Administrator to join our dynamic team of contract professionals. 

 

As part of SRI’s Contracts team, you will have the opportunity to utilize your experience in Government subcontract management/administration to support  SRI’s team of engineers and scientists as they develop unique solutions that make the world safer, healthier, and more productive.

 

This is a HYBRID position, candidates must be within driving distance to Menlo Park, CA or Arlington, VA. 









Responsibilities






  • Responsible for the solicitation, selection, award, negotiation, execution, and management of subcontracts, teaming agreements, non-disclosure agreements and other contractual documents to ensure compliance with company policy, government requirements, project specifications.
  • Works with project/program management, sales and service teams to structure Subcontract agreements.
  • Reviews and approves all contractual documents to ensure adherence to company policy, satisfaction of customer specifications, and protection of the company's contractual posture.
  • Advises project management of contractual rights, obligations and interpretation of terms and conditions and resolution of subcontract issues.
  • Evaluates subcontractor pricing/cost utilizing various FAR approved techniques to determine fair and reasonable pricing.

 









Qualifications






  • 8+ years of experience in government subcontracts administration is required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution preferred.
  • U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain/maintain/transfer a Top Secret government security clearance is required.
  • Strong working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) is required.
  • Direct experience working in an approved contractor purchasing system environment is strongly preferred.
  • Must be detail oriented, organized and have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to understand work problems and procedures and ensure accuracy of subcontract agreements, proposals and problem resolution.
  • Must be able to adhere to project schedules and meet deadlines.

 

The salary range is: $109,590.00-$146,713.50. Salary ranges will vary and are based on several factors, including geographic location, market competitiveness and equity amongst internal employees in similar roles. Positions may also qualify for SRI's Pay for Outstanding Performance program or the annual Performance Based Compensation program.
