The role


The Senior Systems Administrator plays a crucial role in enhancing and supporting the organisation’s systems. In this role, you will be responsible for managing system configuration and design, participating in user-testing, and working closely with vendors to translate business needs into technical specifications. This role involves monitoring system performance, identifying risks, and developing risk management plans to ensure optimal system functionality and compliance with governance requirements.


 


You will lead the development of technical expertise, identify and address system issues, and maintain effective communication with internal clients. The Senior Systems Administrator oversees coaching and training of internal super users, providing the necessary guides and technical materials to meet current and future workforce planning needs.

What you will bring to the role



  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory including Azure active directory cloud services, multi-domain management in a federated environment, modern authentication, file sharing management and administration, with demonstrated experience in maintaining the operational security and integrity of these services to meet security compliance standards and industry best practice.

  • Experience in modern web-based client management tools, InTune, Configuration Service Providers and Azure monitor

  • Experience in managing Microsoft windows server services, RADIUS, Remote access, DHCP, Enterprise CA, DNS and network device enrolment services

  • Sound understanding of managing, supporting and troubleshooting Windows server 2022 OS platform

  • Experience in creation and maintenance of system and procedure documentation

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey ideas and collaborate with team members and customers alike

  • Relevant industry certifications desirable but not essential
