Responsibilities

This role will work with team members in the software design and development of major components in OCI services. You will also collaborate with other teams across the company on solutions and features. You should be comfortable with back-end development, be able to architect broad systems interactions, be hands-on, be able to dive deep into any part of the stack, and have a good sense for developer experience. You should value simplicity and impact, work comfortably in a collaborative, agile environment, and be excited to learn.


 


Basic Qualifications:
- 3-5+ years of experience with cloud service development
- Proficient at programming in Java or other major programming/scripting language
- Strong systems fundamentals and deliver products from scratch.
- Strong design and system architecture skills
- Bachelors in computer science and engineering or related engineering fields


Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiar with Kubernetes.
- Developed AWS/GCP/Azure backend services.
- Masters / PhD degree in Computer Science

US: Hiring Range: from $74,800 to $178,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
