Job Requirements:
- BS or MS degree in computer science, or equivalent

10+ years of software engineering with proven results in designing, implementing and maintaining complex systems and services
- Rapid and continuous learning to support new features, innovation on linux platform.
- Participate in discussions and maintenance to improve the software performance, maintainability, serviceability, and reliability.
- Ability to work in CI/CD and DevOps work styles.
- Good knowledge on Public/Private Cloud concepts.
- Programming languages: C/Python/Java
- Linux package management (YUM, RPM)
- Linux Distributions: e.g. Oracle Linux, Debian, Red Hat, CentOS.
- Bootstrapping new platforms (x86, ARM)
- Ability to integrate 3rd party drivers on Platform
- Familiar with WIFI and Mesh standards and open-source integrations
- Linux networking and routing protocols
- Linux firewall and NAT

ResponsibilitiesAs a senior developer in the software engineering division, you will apply your extensive knowledge of software architecture and development in developing, debugging, and designing software applications according to provided design specifications. You will be involved in developing enhancements within an existing software architecture and to help envision future improvements to the architecture. Some of the key requirements are demonstrated leadership, strong communication skills, analytical skills, thorough understanding of product development.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
- Proficiencies with C/Python/Java
- Ability to work in a fast paced and challenging environment.
- Experience working on agile development teams.
- Knowledge on OCI / AWS / Azure / GCP is a strong plus.
- Knowledge of Micro-Services architecture
- Bootstrapping new linux platforms (x86 , ARM)
- Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with Oracle database/ MySQL
- Hypervisors e.g KVM
- Container networking, docker/podman
- IPSEC, TLS and Routing protocols like BGP/OSPF
- Working knowledge of WIFI 6, 7, Mesh standards and open-source integrations with MediaTek or Qualcomm WIFI modules.
- Familiarity with Protocols: HTTPS, DNS, DHCP etc.
- Linux performance tuning and characterization.
Soft Skills:
- Ability to multi-task and handle changing priorities.
- Strong command on spoken and written English.
