KIPP Atlanta Schools is part of the KIPP (Knowledge is Power Program) national network of free, open enrollment, college preparatory schools dedicated to ensuring that every child grows up free to create the future they want for themselves and their communities. Lead Teachers at KIPP Atlanta Schools are committed to providing a high-quality, college preparatory education for all scholars. Curriculum Development and Instruction
Adapt and execute a rigorous, standards-aligned curriculum
Develop academically rigorous and differentiated lessons and assessments
Use a variety of instructional strategies and resources to engage scholars and promote a love of learning
Use data to inform instructional decisions and provide targeted support to scholars needing additional assistance
Provide scholars with daily feedback on performance and plan for individual learning needs
Differentiate instruction to ensure that all scholars are progressing
In conjunction with Special Education Teachers, work to ensure that all IEPs and student needs are met both within and outside of the classroom
Foster a Positive School and Classroom Culture
Embody and maintain the school’s values, policies, and culture and foster a sense of belonging in and outside of the classroom
Develop positive relationships with scholars, families, teachers, staff, and community members
Establish and maintain strong communication with all families and consistently share progress
Attend school events, including staff meetings, open houses, parent-teacher conferences, and more
Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and is developmentally appropriate to the maturity and interests of the scholars
Demonstrate a Growth Mindset
Pursue challenging professional goals each year
Give and receive positive and constructive feedback with colleagues
Participate in school-wide and individual professional development
Be prepared to do whatever it takes for all scholars to learn and grow

Compensation for this role is between $60,000 - $100,000 The starting pay will depend on various factors that may include but are not limited to professional experience, education, training, and certifications.
