We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our accounting team. This role will support the accounts payable function, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of invoices, vendor payments, and reconciliations. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to grow in a corporate accounting environment.

  • This position will be hybrid based out of our Lehi, UT HQ

  • Reports to: Assistant Controller

What You Will Own

  • Review and process invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and proper approvals.

  • Assist with payment runs, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers.

  • Maintain vendor records and handle vendor inquiries regarding payments.

  • Perform AP account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

  • Assist in month-end close by preparing journal entries related to AP.

  • Generate AP aging reports and maintain accurate records.

  • Manage the company’s employee reimbursement process. 

  • Assist in preparation of the company’s prepaid assets. 

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.

  • Assist in maintaining compliance with internal controls and SOX (if applicable).

  • Support audits by providing documentation and answering inquiries.

  • Identify opportunities to improve AP processes and efficiencies.

What You Will Need to Accomplish the Job

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Experience: 0–2 years of accounting or AP experience.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage time and meet deadlines.
