Staff Accountant

Summary  

The Staff Accountant will perform tasks in several different areas of accounting including general ledger accounting, accounts receivables, cash management, internal control analysis, and reporting. 

Duties & Responsibilities

• Create journal entries, prepare account reconciliations, and analyze account activity
• Prepare supporting documentation for journal entries
• Identify and reconcile intercompany transactions
• Track and reconcile cash receipts
• Prepare and send out invoices

• Cash management functions

• Perform bank reconciliations
• Assist with management and monitoring of accounts payable

• Internal control analysis– strengthen current processes and internal controls to drive efficiencies and accuracy
• Assist in preparation of financial statements
• Assist with financial analysis and finance department projects as needed 

• Maintain utmost confidentiality as applicable.
• Other projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications for the Position

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• Microsoft Dynamics (Great Plains), MS Office, Adobe Acrobat experience preferred

 Compensation

This the range for this role is $44,682 - $61,438. Note: Wages will be determined based on factors such as candidate experience, qualifications, skill set and internal equity.
