Job Title: Technical Designer - Luxury Custom Kitchen and Furniture Manufacturer

Position: Technical Designer Location: New York


Responsibilities: As a Technical Designer, you will play a vital role in our daily operations, working on luxury bespoke kitchen and joinery projects. Your responsibilities will include: - Creating production drawings, manufacturing drawings, and installation drawings for custom kitchen and furniture projects. - Collaborating closely with the Project Manager and Design Coordinator in a team environment. - Ensuring precision, accuracy, and attention to detail in all design work. - Employing modern furniture construction techniques and utilizing your expertise in bespoke cabinet making. - Demonstrating excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Technical Skills: To thrive in this role, you should have the following technical skills: - Extensive experience and understanding of modern furniture construction techniques, particularly in bespoke cabinet making. - A meticulous attention to detail, considering the practicality of designs during the manufacturing process. - Strong knowledge of material properties and their application in design. - Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D, 3D) to create accurate and precise technical drawings.
