EDUCATIONAL RECOMMENDATIONS
Currently a candidate for a Master's, Bachelor’s degree, or Diploma in User Experience Design, or a related field with an accredited school in Canada.
Responsibilities
As a part of our team, you will:
- Create UX specifications for web-based applications.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
- Expert knowledge of user-centered design principles.
- Superior creative and innovative problem-solving skills.
- Initiative design work and the ability to work independently and in a team with excellent collaborative skills.
- Learn and apply the Nokia design system to drive consistency in the design you create.
Qualifications
- Interdisciplinary collaboration with designers, engineers, developers, and product teams
- An empathetic, human-centric approach to user experience design is a must.
- Experience with user experience tools & with skills, e.g. Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Miro.
- Strong ability to communicate results and illustrate suggestions in compelling and creative ways.
- A portfolio of work you have done that demonstrates the design methods and design rational to the user problems in your solutions.
- Strong visual skills and an eye for pixel-perfect design.
- Highly professional, with the ability to deliver solid work on tight schedules.
It would be nice if you also had:
- Experience in design thinking techniques to conduct workshops.
- An understanding of CSS, and HTML. An understanding of Javascript is a bonus.
