Description

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced AssistantΒ Asset Accountant to join our team at the Brisbane office. This role is pivotal in supporting our team with the delivery of comprehensive property consultancy services, contributing to our continued growth and success. Previous asset accounting experience preferred but not critical as training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help to prepare and maintain fixed asset registers.
  • Perform balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations.
  • Help to prepare tax depreciation schedules.
  • Consult with clients on fixed asset practices and policies.
  • Develop and enhance client procedures and ensure industry best practices are applied.
  • Contribute to the preparation of client proposals and tenders.
  • Ensure all tasks align with MBM’s Quality Assurance and Work Health and Safety standards.
  • Build professional relationships and attend industry events to expand your network.


Skills And Experiences

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant field.
  • Preferably 6 months experience in asset accounting or a related area.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Excellent numerical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • A professional attitude with exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • A willingness to learn, adapt, and grow professionally.
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
