As a Business Systems Analyst Intern at MGK, you'll have the opportunity to bridge the gap between business needs and technology. You'll actively contribute to real-world projects in a collaborative environment while gaining valuable experience in analyzing and improving business systems. Your role involves understanding business requirements, identifying technology solutions, and supporting the implementation of these solutions to meet organizational goals. Additionally, you'll engage with cross-functional teams, refine your problem-solving skills, and develop insights into how technology drives business success.

This is a full time, paid internship that will pay $20 an hour, and require you to be onsite at our Brooklyn Park office. This position does not offer relocation assistance. The internship will run from May 27 – August 15.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze current business processes.
  • Analyze and document existing workflows across various enterprise systems, including ERP, CRM, and PLM platforms.
  • Create comprehensive business process flow documents to visualize workflows and dependencies across enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, and PLM systems.
  • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to create end-to-end test cases for critical paths.
  • Participate in system testing, including executing test cases for critical paths and scenarios.
  • Contribute to the development of user manuals, training materials, and technical documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Visio, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with creating business process flow documents and test cases is highly desirable.
  • Basic knowledge of ERP systems, database management and SQL is a bonus.
