Epicor Systems Analyst & Automation Support

Job Purpose

We are looking for a dedicated Epicor Systems Analyst & Automation Support specialist to enhance our IT team's capabilities. This role is designed for a professional skilled in Epicor ERP, with a focus on API integrations, BAQs, ECM DocStar, Epicor Automation Studio, VBA, and SSRS reports.

The ideal candidate will possess a keen interest in learning and supporting Robotic Process Automation (RPA) initiatives alongside our RPA development team. This position offers a unique opportunity to grow your automation skills while ensuring the effective operation of our Epicor ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize our Epicor ERP system, including customizing functionalities, monitoring system performance, and resolving issues.
  
• Develop, modify, and maintain Business Activity Queries (BAQs) for enhanced data reporting and analysis across various departments.
  
• Manage document workflows using ECM DocStar, ensuring efficient document capture, storage, and retrieval processes.
• Utilize Epicor Automation Studio for business process automation and API integration projects, aiming to reduce manual efforts and ensure seamless communication between Epicor ERP and other business systems, thereby improving operational efficiency.
• Design and support custom reports using SSRS and VBA to aid in data-driven decision-making.
• Express a willingness to learn RPA technologies and support the RPA development team in monitoring and assisting with automation projects.
• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to identify system improvement and automation opportunities.
• Offer training and support to end-users on Epicor system functionalities and custom-developed tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proven experience with Epicor ERP, including deep knowledge of BAQ, ECM DocStar, and Epicor Automation Studio.
• Familiarity with API integrations, VBA, and SSRS report development.
• Eagerness to learn about RPA technologies and support automation projects.
• Knowledge in Monday CRM automation workflows is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and the capacity to work well in a collaborative team environment.

• £30k - £35k per annum DOE
• Monday to Friday, 0800-1700
• Andover, Whitchurch and Working from home
