HSE Auditor

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Assist in compliance reviews, risk assessments and other safety assessments to support HSE management.
• Maintain relevant HSE audits and documentation of audits for all areas within the company.
• Provide assistance with all HSE meetings and training as needed.
• Assist in the compliance of DOT/CMV/Hazmat laws and regulations.
• Participate in detailed incident investigations and Root Cause Analysis.
• Observe HSE regulations, wears all required safety equipment, encourages safe work practices and corrects hazards immediately.
• Maintain positive and proactive relations with managers and employees, as well as our customers and regulatory agencies.
• Promote incident prevention.
• Assist in administering and maintaining all HSE compliance programs.
• Comply with all HSE procedures and policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Strong teamwork and flexibility to accomplish goals and department deadlines.
• Willing to travel 50-80% of the time.
• Must possess a high school diploma.
• Minimum of 5 years of Health, Safety and Environmental procedures experience.

• Experience and knowledge on computer software including Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), Outlook, and power point presentation.  Experience in Lytx and Tenstreet is a plus.
