Assist in compliance reviews, risk assessments and other safety assessments to support HSE management.
Maintain relevant HSE audits and documentation of audits for all areas within the company.
Provide assistance with all HSE meetings and training as needed.
Assist in the compliance of DOT/CMV/Hazmat laws and regulations.
Participate in detailed incident investigations and Root Cause Analysis.
Observe HSE regulations, wears all required safety equipment, encourages safe work practices and corrects hazards immediately.
Maintain positive and proactive relations with managers and employees, as well as our customers and regulatory agencies.
Promote incident prevention.
Assist in administering and maintaining all HSE compliance programs.
Comply with all HSE procedures and policies.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Strong teamwork and flexibility to accomplish goals and department deadlines.
Willing to travel 50-80% of the time.
Must possess a high school diploma.
Minimum of 5 years of Health, Safety and Environmental procedures experience.
Experience and knowledge on computer software including Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), Outlook, and power point presentation. Experience in Lytx and Tenstreet is a plus.
