Job Description

The  main duties that this person will be preforming:


- Manage the HelpDesk and Desktop support team
- Support messaging and collaboration needs for the company
- License and vendor management
- Asset management and distribution


Responsibilities:

  • Excellent interpersonal relation skills
  • Mentor and develop team members to reach their potential
  • Deep understanding of Active Directory, Windows 7 and 8
  • Support Macs in a Windows environment
  • Strong Windows fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, User/Group permissions structures, etc.)
  • Support 12x5 call center – application, PBX, and service providers
  • Coordination of WAN optimization strategies to boost performance of collaboration framework (primarily Microsoft Lync)
  • Able to build, support, and train users on collaboration systems (such as Confluence)
  • Proficiency with Cloud technologies – especially Amazon Web Services
  • Experience or understanding of HIPAA compliance requirements
  • Familiarity with Cisco technologies and VPN solution
  • Familiarity with VMware and Linux a strong plus


Qualifications

About you:

  • Able to provide a premier level of service to all employees, regardless of platform or location
  • 3+ years IT management in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • 6+ years in Information Technology
  • Built and managed VOIP phone system supporting a call center (preferably Avaya)
  • Built and managed Lync in an on-premise or hybrid environment with Office 365 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or other related discipline
