The IT Support Specialist is responsible for the assistance with installation, inventory, and maintenance of all computers and related equipment utilized by CNS.  You will have the opportunity to support the end-to-end IT experience of the users.  Work is on-site during the weekdays.

Job Tasks:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and technical support for both onsite and remote employees applying a Solve for the Customer (SFTC) approach. 
  • Work cooperatively with others, apply situation de-escalation as needed, to help a person, team or work group achieve its goals. 
  • Triage, resolve, and escalate (when necessary) users' technical issues related to common business operational applications, client's specific applications, browser and driver issues, and common hardware (Tablets, PC, MAC, keyboards, pointing devices, printers, scanners). 
  • Support ancillary systems and devices including conferencing systems and mobile devices and administer user accounts including system and hardware setup; lockout resolution; and software maintenance and upgrades. 
  • Timely initiation and maintenance of communication with users is expected; customer service and technical skills are equally important.
  • Maintain IT equipment tracking documents and organization and accuracy of IT inventory.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or 4 years equivalent experience.
  • Experience troubleshooting and supporting users in the following systems is required.
    1. Windows 10 Operating System
    2. Microsoft Office Desktop Applications
    3. Office 365 Services
    4. Client Software Installation
    5. Network connectivity including WiFi
  • CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent certifications desired.
