Position: Senior Paralegal - Trust & Estates Entity: River Bend Administration, LLC Reports to: Senior Counsel Location: Naples, FL
River Bend Administration is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal with significant trusts and estates experience to join the team.
About the Position The successful candidate will directly and substantially support River Bend’s trust administration and estate planning team. The role requires an experienced and proactive individual who is skilled at practice management, maintaining current and complete files and document management systems, drafting administrative legal documents, managing internal and external communications, and ensuring the secure and efficient handling of original legal documents.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Preparation of Legal Documents
Coordinate the drafting, review, proofreading, signature and collection of original documents including preparing and managing a document list and signing matrix for large projects
Assist in preparing estate planning presentations, including summaries and projections, in collaboration with River Bend team and family client advisory teams
As requested, draft various private trust company administrative documents including, but not limited to, correspondence, consents, agreements, assignments, trustee succession instruments, notices, promissory notes, letters of directions and other miscellaneous documents based on previous work
Legal Research Support
Support attorneys performing legal research on trust and estate-related issues and work with attorneys to prepare summaries and presentations
Maintain working knowledge of various state and federal laws affecting trust administration, estate planning, and probate
Assist River Bend Senior Counsel in handling general legal matters for the company arising from time to time
File and Document Management
In coordination with Trust Administration team, manage and maintain physical and electronic files related to River Bend’s trust administration clients to ensure maintenance of complete, accurate, and accessible books and records as required by law or company policies
In coordination with the President and external partners, manage and maintain physical and electronic files related to River Bend’s estate planning clients to ensure maintenance of complete, accurate, and accessible client files
When required, ensure compliance with all court filing requirements and deadlines
Practice & Project Management
Work closely with River Bend’s Officers and external partners to track, manage, and complete complex and sophisticated estate planning and trust administration workstreams
Efficiently track project or legal deadlines and maintain and report various project status to stakeholders
Coordinate with outside professionals such as law firms, appraisers, investment advisors, and others regarding estate matters as needed
Qualifications

Qualifications required for your success:
Associate or bachelor’s degree
Paralegal Certification preferred
10+ years of relevant experience, preferably in a sophisticated trust and estates law firm practice
Highly proficient in O365, including Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and SharePoint
Excellent communication skills, presence, poise, and ability to develop close, collaborative relationships with internal and external colleagues
High level of attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Collaborative and impeccably trustworthy, and able to keep highly sensitive information completely confidential
Able to independently structure and manage workflow and priorities
Self-motivated, strategic thinker with the ability to work both independently and within a team environment
