Job Title: Sr Fleet Business Systems Analyst

Job Summary: The Fleet Business Systems Analyst is responsible for evaluating and enhancing fleet management processes through the implementation and support of fleet management software solutions. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze data, and ensure that fleet operations are efficient, cost-effective, and compliant with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and document business requirements related to fleet operations. Analyze current fleet management processes to pinpoint areas for improvement.
• System Implementation and Support: Oversee the deployment of fleet management systems, ensuring they align with business needs. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for system-related issues.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze fleet data to identify trends and areas for optimization. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide insights into fleet performance and key metrics.
• Process Improvement: Recommend and implement process enhancements to improve fleet efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Training and Documentation: Develop training materials and conduct sessions for end-users to ensure effective utilization of fleet management systems. Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations and processes.
• Compliance and Regulatory Management: Ensure fleet operations adhere to government regulations and organizational policies. Manage fleet licensing and maintain accurate records of vehicles.

Required Skills and Competencies:

• Technical Proficiency: Experience with fleet management software and systems. Ability to analyze and interpret complex data sets.
• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with various stakeholders and convey technical information clearly.
• Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgets.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous in maintaining accurate records and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, Logistics, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business systems analysis, preferably within fleet management or logistics. Experience in the school bus or transportation industry is a significant plus.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications in business analysis or fleet management systems are advantageous. Lean Six Sigma process improvement certifications are highly desirable, as they demonstrate expertise in streamlining operations and enhancing process efficiency.

This role is pivotal in ensuring that fleet operations are streamlined, cost-effective, and aligned with the organization's strategic objectives. The Fleet Business Systems Analyst serves as a bridge between technical teams and operational staff, facilitating the successful implementation and utilization of fleet management technologies.
