Hours of operation:  8:30am - 5pm

 

JOB SUMMARY

 

  • The Staff Accountant position is to provide effective and efficient accounting functions in accordance with Board approved policies, procedures and applying the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) in order that the strategic/financial objectives of the agency are attained.
  • This includes analytical work and thorough review of financial activities/records.
  • Duties encompass the activities of Trustbridge, Inc. and its affiliates.








Qualifications






 

  1. Education/Regulatory Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred.
  2. Skills:
    • One to three years’ experience as an accountant with experience in general ledger, tax returns and preparation of financial statements and reports, preferably in a health care environment.
    • Ability to monitor and collect data to assess accuracy and integrity; analyze data; ensure compliance with applicable standards, rules, regulations and systems of internal control; interpret and evaluate results, prepare documentation; create financial reports and/or presentations.
    • Experience with computer financial applications, including accounting and billing systems, spreadsheets and databases.  Ability to use such applications in order to prepare analytical reports, including charts and graphs.

    • Ability to demonstrate professional communication skills, both written and orally and ability to clearly communicate issues to all levels of management.
